Summary
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Practitioner who shares our passion to strive towards excellence in peoples mental health and social care and who affiliates with our Trusts culture pillars where staff and service users feel safe, valued and are empowered. As an assistant practitioner you will be responsible for supporting the team to deliver a range of health and/or social care interventions. You will have a small caseload of patients who require low-level or preventative interventions. You will be supported by a multidisciplinary team. We are a busy and dynamic service and caseloads are reflective of this. This requires you to have good organisational skills and an ability to work flexibly as part of the team. The role involves visiting patients at home and you therefore must be able to get around Islington using Public Transport and/or walking/cycling. Youll be able to demonstrate experience in working with adults mental health care and have good communication and interpersonal skills. You should have some understanding of the wider health and social care system. Being computer literate is a must and you have to be able to use Word, Excel and other relevant IT systems.
