Summary
Support Worker / Project Worker - Bermondsey
Bermondsey Project is seeking an experienced Agency Support Worker to join our team on a short-term basis (3 months), with potential extension
We are a 30-bed supported housing service across three sites, supporting vulnerable homeless adults with enduring mental health needs. Our service is a stepping-stone between high-support accommodation and independent living, providing self-contained bed-sits and life-skills support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day service delivery
- Work with vulnerable adults to promote independence and move-on outcomes
- Complete risk assessments, needs assessments and support plans using IT systems
- Liaise with external agencies and local authorities
- Support housing management tasks
- Promote engagement, positive outcomes and a safe, supportive environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals and mental health needs
- Strong organisational, communication and administration skills
- Confidence engaging with clients and partner agencies
- An outcome-focused, proactive approach
- Ability to support ad-hoc team tasks as required
