Schedule: Monday to Friday | ⏱ Approx. 50 hours per week
Pay: £14.00 per hour (PAYE) | £15.69 per hour (including holiday pay)

Driver Hire Edinburgh City is recruiting a reliable and motivated Class 2 (Category C) Driver to support a well-established local business, operating specialist sweeper vehicles across Edinburgh.
Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply — full training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a left-hand drive Class 2 sweeper vehicle (full training provided)
Work on public roads and construction sites using specialist equipment
Carry out daily vehicle checks and follow all health & safety procedures
Navigate local routes safely and efficiently
Complete basic paperwork and keep the vehicle clean and presentable
✅ What You’ll Need
Full UK Category C (Class 2) licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Strong awareness of safety and attention to detail
A positive, reliable, and proactive approach
No previous sweeper experience required — training provided
What’s On Offer
✔ £14.00 per hour PAYE (£15.69 per hour including holiday pay)
✔ Monday to Friday work — weekends free
✔ Around 50 hours per week with consistent shifts
✔ Temp-to-perm opportunity after 12 weeks
✔ Weekly pay with ongoing support from Driver Hire
✔ A varied, hands-on role with long-term prospects
