Summary

Join our vibrant team in Horley as a SEN Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting classroom learning, assisting pupils with additional needs, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) as required

  • Deliver one-to-one and small group support to enhance student learning

  • Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and maintaining classroom organisation

  • Assist with supervision during break times, lunchtimes, and educational trips

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A calm, patient, and caring approach when working with children

  • A positive attitude and strong team ethic

  • A valid DBS check, or willingness to obtain one

  • Previous experience working with children in a school environment

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar child-focused role is advantageous
