Summary

HRGO are recruiting a motivated and reliable Line Leader on behalf of our client based in Chartham, near Canterbury. This role involves overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the packing line while maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Compliance at all times.

This is an ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity, with an immediate start available .

Working Hours & Pay

  • Hours: 06:30 - 18:30 (5 shifts per week, may include weekends)

  • Pay Rate:

    • £13.45 per hour (standard rate)

    • £16.81 per hour (overtime)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the packing line, including all start-up checks

  • Coordinate with ODS, Chiller, and Machine Operators on job priorities

  • Ensure correct packaging, labelling, and fruit specifications are followed

  • Train and supervise packers, ensuring hygiene and quality standards

  • Complete paperwork accurately and update the minus sheet

  • Monitor stock levels and order additional packaging or fruit as required

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area

  • Report completed orders to the Packhouse Manager

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Line Leader or in a similar role (preferred)

  • Good communication skills with a strong level of English

  • Good understanding of Maths

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
