Summary
This is a full-time post of 10 PAs: 8 PAs for direct clinical care for elective work, 1 PA for on call and 1 SPA. Timetable There will be a regular commitment to cardiothoracic lists. Some sessions are delivered flexibly depending on service needs and the skills and interests of the successful candidate. Each session of four hours attracts 1.25 PAs to include pre- and postoperative care. This will be covering cardiac and thoracic emergencies. The SPA allocation will be 1 per week (4 hours). SPA time is given to support continuing professional development, teaching, quality improvement and preparation for appraisal.
