About the role:

The University of Lancashire wishes to recruit an IT/AV Technician to join our Learning and Information Services team at our Preston campus.

The successful candidate will be required to install and maintain a diverse range of IT and audio-visual resources and facilities across the estate including the management of several specialist departmental computer networks. They will support other technical teams in the delivery of core teaching activities and will be required to support staff and students in the implementation and use of a range of learning technologies, including web conferencing activities and event support.

About you:

The successful candidate will be naturally inquisitive and will possess a range of relevant skills and experience, including experience of IT and AV technical support in a customer facing role and knowledge and experience in managing Windows networks/domains, providing support for relevant server hardware, virtualisation and PC systems applications

GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above or equivalent experiential learning in a related discipline are required for this role.
