Summary
Speech and Language Graduate:
Location: Stockport (SK8)
Pay: £475-£550 per week, depending on experience
Start date: 19/01/2026
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking recent speech and language graduates to join a large SEN school in the Cheadle area. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain experience within a school setting.
The school is located in the Cheadle Hulme area and supports pupils aged between 4-19, with complex needs.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, encouraging engagement and development
- Communicating regularly with class teachers and SLT to monitor progress
- Assisting in preparation of engaging learning resources
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Recent degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (Desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting SEN, in placements
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
