Brief Description:
We're seeking an enthusiastic and skilled SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school supporting children aged 2-11 with complex needs, including autism, PMLD, and SLD.
About the Role:
As an HLTA, you'll work closely with class teachers and the wider SEN team to support pupils' learning and development. You'll lead small group sessions, assist with planning and delivering tailored activities, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of each child.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- HLTA status or relevant higher-level qualification
- Experience supporting SEN pupils, ideally in a specialist setting
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Confidence leading small groups and supporting differentiated learning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
