We are seeking confident, compassionate, and proactive SEN TAs who can support pupils with:
- ASD, ADHD, and other neurodiverse needs
- Challenging behaviours, emotional regulation, and sensory needs
- Communication and social‑interaction development
- Personalised learning plans and structured routines
To be considered, you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Experience supporting SEN pupils, ideally in a primary school setting
- Minimum Grade C/Level 4 in GCSE English and Maths
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed
Primary Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant in this setting, your role will include:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access learning
- Implementing strategies for behaviour regulation and emotional support
- Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and classroom routines
- Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum activities
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
- Providing feedback to teachers and contributing to pupil progress
- Ensuring safeguarding, wellbeing, and safety at all times
