ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you. Support cannot be carried out in the personal assistant’s own home.

Personal Assistant




A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF




I am a bright creative and energetic 10 year old with a great sense of humour. I have a diagnosis of ADHD, Dyspraxia and PKU. I like animals and playing outside with other children and spending time on my computer playing games. I require a supportive Personal Assistant to help support me to navigate daily routines, emotional regulations and social interactions whilst keeping me safe at all times.







PURPOSE OF JOB




To provide one-one support at all times and help me develop my independence, build my confidence, and participate in meaningful activities at home and out in the community.







PLACE OF WORK




In the home and out in the community





HOURS OF WORK




Term Time is 3 hours a week --- flexible

Half Term is 5 hours a week---- flexible



Hours and times to be discussed at interview






RATE OF PAY




£14.75






TASKS INVOLVED




Staying on track and managing my frustrations, assisting with my motor skills, e.g play, riding a bike etc,

Ensure Safe Food Choices to be aware of my PKU

Promote Social Inclusion and positive self-esteem

Supporting safe participation in outings and hobbies







TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
