Summary

The South Camden Community Team (SCCT) supports the mental health and emotional well-being of children and young people (0-18 years) in the culturally diverse borough of Camden. SCCT works to the Thrive model of service delivery and provides consultation, assessment, therapy and training based on evidence based practice.

SCCT is comprised of a rich multi-disciplinary team, which includes Child Psychotherapy, Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology, CBT, Family Therapy and Psychiatry. The team works closely with partners in the borough, namely: Schools, Local Authority and the voluntary sector.

You will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary team delivering a range of evidence based, and complex interventions and responsible for the formulation and delivery of specialised programmes of care. There will also be opportunities to contribute to service development projects such as patient and public involvement as well as equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives.

The post holder will be the linked CAMHS clinician to a secondary school, up to one day per week. There may also be opportunities to provide regular and on-going consultation support to a number of primary schools.
