Classic Car Mechanic – Private Collection (Maintenance Focus)
We are working with a significant private classic car collection, housing a wide range of historically important and beautifully maintained vehicles. This is a rare opportunity for a skilled mechanic who enjoys care, preservation, and precision, rather than ground-up restoration.
This role is all about keeping exceptional cars exceptional.
The Role
Routine servicing, inspection, and mechanical upkeep of classic vehicles
Fault diagnosis and preventative maintenance
Preparing vehicles for use, storage, or display
Working to high standards with originality and sympathy in mind
Maintaining accurate records of work carried out
There is no restoration work involved — no strip-downs, no rebuilds. This is a calm, methodical environment focused on correctness and longevity.
The Ideal Person
Experienced classic car mechanic or technician
Strong mechanical fundamentals (engines, drivetrains, braking, suspension)
Careful, organised, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working independently within a small, trusted team
Pride in workmanship and respect for historic vehicles
