We are representing our client, a reputable automotive franchise in Southend, who is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Service Advisor. The Service Advisor role is fundamental to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the dealership’s service department. - Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, plus a rotational Saturday morning shift (8:00am to 1:00pm)

Duties & responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and guiding them through the service process
- Preparing and managing job cards efficiently
- Keeping customers informed of service progress and any additional work required
- Upselling services, warranty work, and additional products
- Handling customer queries via telephone and online communication channels
- Generating invoices and processing payments accurately
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining dealership standards
- Supporting the service team in daily operational tasks as required
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar Service Advisor role within a Main Car Dealership is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with an approachable and professional manner
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Full UK driving licence and legal right to work in the UK
- Passion for the automotive industry is desirable, whether from a background within motor trade or a keen interest in vehicles
- Confidence in dealing with customers face-to-face, over the phone, and via email
- Ability to upsell and promote dealership services effectively
- Organised with attention to detail to handle paperwork and administrative duties accurately
