What skills and experience we're looking for
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Key Stage One teacher to cover maternity leave from April 2026 for two terms. Our school motto is ‘Be the Best You Can Be’ and we are looking for a committed, friendly teacher who will help our children meet their potential and to be the best they can be.
Teaching in a Key Stage 1 class of mixed Year One and Two pupils, we are looking for a flexible practitioner who would be interested in inspiring our fabulous children in their learning. Experience in teaching phonics and including and differentiating the curriculum for children with additional needs would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be:
• An inspirational and reflective practitioner who is passionate about children’s learning
• Committed to ensuring all children make progress, regardless of their starting points
• A team-player, who will work collaboratively with all members of the team
• A professional who is able to differentiate for all members of the class, from those with additional needs to those working at greater depth.
