Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust are currently seeking Catering Assistants to support our Bury-based schools. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

We’re looking for flexible, enthusiastic team members who can work across our Bury schools, stepping in where support is needed most. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy variety and want to make a difference in multiple school communities.

We have roles available from 10 to 22 hours per week—please let us know your preferred hours when applying.

Join our friendly catering team and help create a welcoming dining experience for pupils and staff! You’ll prepare and serve nutritious meals, set up dining areas, and support school hospitality events. From ensuring high standards of food presentation and allergen awareness to keeping kitchens and equipment spotless, your contribution will make a real impact every day.

We are seeking an individual who:

• Has the ability to work within a team and have a flexible approach
• Is able to organise their workload and work effectively under pressure
• Is a good communicator and is able to relate well with others
• Can work on their own initiative
• Has the ability to stand for long periods, lift trays and work in a hot environment
• Is willing and able to work at different schools within Bury
