Summary
The physiotherapy department is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Specialist Physiotherapist. This job-share role will be the clinical lead for the Physiotherapy In-Patient Orthopaedic Spinal Surgery service. The post holder will be committed to providing an effective and efficient service for patients, working with Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and the Deputy Therapy Services Manager to coordinate and develop the physiotherapy Spinal service.
1. To be responsible for coordinating, delivering and evaluating the service within In-Patient Orthopaedic Spines.
1. To take a lead role in advanced assessment and treatment within the speciality of In-Patient Orthopaedic Spinal Surgery, providing expert clinical knowledge.
1. To liaise with other therapy staff, Deputy Therapy Services Managers, Therapy Services Manager and members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) regarding coordinated service delivery,contributing to the development of the department and providing leadership across all wards.
1. To liaise with other Team Leaders to ensure a streamlined service across departments.
