Senior Healthcare Assistant (Level 3) – Hitchin – £13.35 per hour – Night Shifts

What You’ll Need
Essential
- Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Medication administration training and experience
- Proven experience working with older adults
- Experience leading or supervising staff on shift
- Confidence managing responsibility during night shifts
- Experience in a nursing home or dementia care setting
What You’ll Do
- Deliver safe, person-centred care to residents throughout the night
- Lead and coordinate the night care team
- Act as the senior point of contact for incidents or clinical concerns
- Administer medication in line with training and policy
- Complete accurate care records and night handovers
- Maintain a calm, safe environment for residents and staff
- Support and guide junior care staff on shift
