Crynodeb
An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our lymphoedema service to meet increasing local demand and to enhance the new model of community working within North West London. This role offers the chance for your voice to be heard in the development of our new service model.
The role aims:
· To contribute to a comprehensive, effective and cost-efficient lymphoedema service
· To provide outpatient clinical assessment and care to patients with lymphoedema and to act as a resource to patients, their carers and staff
· To work collaboratively with the Lead Lymphoedema practitioner and Head of Nursing in the strategic planning and development of the lymphoedema service
·
· Ensure that patients have equitable access to the service, and that the service meets the needs of patients within the catchment area.
· Provide treatment for patients both within the Lymphoedema clinic and on occasion the in-patient unit.
· Provide specialist Lymphoedema management that is sensitive to the cultural needs of patients and their families/carers, acknowledging diversity.
· Assist in developing a Lymphoedema team that strives to be at the forefront of Lymphoedema management developments.
