Summary
TIG Welders / Fabricators Required
ARC Recruitment are currently recruiting TIG Welders / Fabricators to join a growing and well-established engineering team on a permanent basis.
This is a workshop-based position with the potential for working away when required.
Job duties include:
TIG welding on a variety of materials
Fabrication of components and assemblies
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Cutting, shaping, and preparing materials prior to welding
Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
Carrying out quality checks to ensure work meets specifications
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Working to deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship
Assisting with installation work when working away, if required
Pay rates (depending on experience):
£14 per hour + holiday pay – under 2 years’ experience
£16 per hour + holiday pay – 2 to 5 years’ experience
£18 per hour + holiday pay – 5+ years’ experience
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
Requirements:
Previous TIG welding and fabrication experience
Ability to work accurately from engineering drawings
Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Willingness to work away when required
