Summary
Other duties appropriate to your band as requested by Aseptic services unit, office and QA staff To assist in the provision of aseptically prepared intravenous cytotoxic drugs. This will include the following tasks: To assemble drugs, diluents and consumables prior to aseptic dispensing. To assist with decontamination of products from the support room & cleanroom, prior to preparation (spraying and wiping). To final pack and label prepared items and pass them to the final checking stage. To charge medicines used to the wards, clinics etc. via the pharmacy computer system. To ensure correct storage and stock rotation of all consumables and medicines. To assist with expiry date and stock control checks. To attend department meetings. To attend study days and training programs as requested by Senior Technician to ensure continuing personal development.
