Job Summary:
As the EV Field Service Planning Lead, you will play a crucial role in the efficient management of our electric vehicle service operations. You will oversee the scheduling and planning of field service activities to ensure optimal resource utilization, timely response to service requests, and high levels of customer satisfaction. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of electric vehicle technology and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective field service planning strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with field service technicians to schedule work assignments based on priority, travel time, and skill set.
- Monitor and analyze service metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Liaise with customers to understand their service needs and provide timely updates regarding service delivery.
- Manage inventory of tools and parts required for field service operations to ensure technicians are fully equipped.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical support, and customer service, to enhance the overall service delivery process.
- Prepare reports and analytics related to service requests, technician performance, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with electric vehicle advancements and service best practices to ensure the deployment of cutting-edge solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a related field (Business Administration, Engineering, or similar) is preferred; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in field service management or operations planning within the automotive or technology industries.
- Strong understanding of electric vehicle technology and common industry practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in using field service management software and tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities to address service challenges proactively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
