16 hours per week - Monday to Friday (overtime available)

As a General Catering Assistant you will…

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, and snacks according to established menus and recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
  • Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

  • Ideally have experience working within corporate Hospitality.
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
  • Fun and enthusiastic
  • Have excellent organization skills.
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail.
  • Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
  • Possess great customer service skills.
  • Have a flexible approach to work
