Location: Liskeard (with potential county-wide coverage)

Rate: £21.57 per hour (PAYE)
Pay Frequency: Weekly (paid every Friday)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:15pm

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a community-based service in Cornwall. This role focuses on delivering optimal, person-centred care while supporting service efficiencies and reducing reliance on long-term care packages.
The successful candidate will work directly with adults in the community, carrying a caseload and completing regular face-to-face assessments and interventions.
Key Responsibilities
• Undertake community-based occupational therapy assessments
• Support individuals to maximise independence and wellbeing
• Recommend practical, proportionate interventions to reduce dependency on ongoing care packages
• Manage a varied caseload with regular in-person visits
• Work collaboratively with wider health and social care professionals
Essential Requirements
• Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist
• Significant post-qualification experience in a community setting
• Strong preference for experience within Adult Social Care
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
• Willingness and ability to undertake regular face-to-face visits
Desirable
• Knowledge of strengths-based practice and prevention-focused approaches
• Experience contributing to service efficiency or cost-saving initiatives
