Summary
Main Purpose
To work as part of the grading and yard team to ensure that the seed potato products meet the required specification and standards of plant health for customer orders as well as our own input stock.
Main Duties
• Working on the potato grader and removing any product that does not fit the specification, ensuring a high-quality product reaches the customer.
• Assist with bagging and preparing orders for customer collection.
• Assist with maintenance tasks on the grader and associated equipment to ensure the smooth operation of the machines.
• To follow instructions relating to Health and Safety and Fresh Produce.
• To follow instruction from Yard Team members, working at pace and as part of a high performing team.
• Undertake housekeeping tasks to help maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
• You may also be required to undertake additional duties from time to time as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
