Personal Assistant required – Huntingdon (PE29) - PUR-536-523
About me:

12 year old male with autism who is able to communicate, and tell you their needs. Can walk without assistance, just needs to be supervised on roads etc. Loves being outdoors, loves swimming, bowling, football, basketball. Anything physical. Loves gaming, arcades. Going to the gym and shopping.

Hours and Rate of Pay:
To be discussed at interview – namely school holidays and weekdays.
£12.50+
Person Specification:
Assistance with practical aspects of daily living, particularly with regard to organisation and ensuring access is clear for safe living.
Should have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care, be able to work flexible hours and be a good communicator.
Possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role.
Be hardworking, reliable, committed, honest and trustworthy. Have common sense and be able to use their initiative.
Flexible and a willingness to learn.
Clean full driving licence essential and access to own vehicle required.
Be cheerful, fun and caring with a good sense of humour.
Experience of working within SEN highly desired.
Role responsibilities:
Support with social outings and accessing the local community.
Establish a close working relationship on a 1-1 basis.
Undertake any duties which may be reasonably allocated and fall within the scope responsibility of the job.
