Summary
Owen Payne Recruitment are recruiting for a Furniture Assembler for our fantastic client located in the Kingswinford area, our client specialises in the build and design of bespoke healthcare furniture.
Our client has a purpose built, clean factory with lots on ongoing investments going on!
This position will be a 12-week temporary to permanent role with a fantastic career growth.
Main Duties:
• Assemble frame components using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
• Join frame pieces together using nails, screws, staples, glue, etc
• Ensure all frames meet quality and durability standards
• Repair or reinforce damaged furniture frames as needed
• Hit daily output targets
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace while following health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Proven experience as a Furniture Frame Maker, Carpenter, or similar role
• Skilled in using woodworking techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Knowledge of different types of wood, joints, and construction techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours of work:
• Monday to Thursday 07:00am -15:00pm
• Friday 07:00am – 11:00am
Rate of pay:
• £13.50 per hour
