QTS Primary Teachers – South Manchester – Long-Term Roles (Paid to Scale)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with QTS?
Looking for a long-term teaching opportunity in a welcoming and well-supported South Manchester school?

TeacherActive are working with a number of fantastic primary schools across South Manchester who are seeking Qualified Primary Teachers for long-term roles starting this term. These positions are paid to scale, offering fair and competitive rates in line with your experience and responsibilities.

About the Roles:

  • Long-term placements with potential for ongoing or permanent contracts


  • Opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 – tailored to your strengths and preferences


  • Full teaching responsibilities including planning, delivery and assessment


  • Supportive SLTs, strong ECT mentoring (where applicable), and inclusive school cultures


  • Paid to MPS/UPS scale


    What We’re Looking For:

    • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential


    • Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school


    • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills


    • A proactive and reflective approach to teaching


    • A commitment to high standards, safeguarding, and pupil progress
