The Role & Responsibilities

As a Secondary Teacher, your responsibilities may include:

  • Delivering engaging and structured lessons in line with the national curriculum


  • Teaching your specialist subject across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available)


  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment


  • Effectively managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies


  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback


  • Adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners


  • Working collaboratively with departmental staff and support teams


  • Following safeguarding and school procedures at all times


    Roles can be short-term, long-term, or permanent, depending on your preference.

    We’re looking for teachers who:

    ✔ Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs encouraged to apply
    ✔ Have experience teaching in UK secondary schools
    ✔ Are confident teaching their subject up to KS4
    ✔ Have strong classroom management skills
    ✔ Bring a positive, flexible, can-do attitude to the classroom
