Our client, a thriving primary school located in the vibrant town of Tamworth, Staffordshire, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-time Teaching Assistant to join their exceptional team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting the educational and personal development of children aged 4-11 years old.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our talented teaching staff, contributing to the creation of a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Your role will be to provide valuable support to the class teacher, ensuring that each child receives the attention and guidance they need to thrive.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help or intervention
- Facilitating engaging and age-appropriate learning activities that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles
- Monitoring and recording the progress of students, and collaborating with the class teacher to identify areas for improvement
- Offering pastoral care and emotional support to students, helping them to develop their confidence, self-esteem, and social skills
- Collaborating with other members of the school's support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being and development

The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children and a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by primary school students. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with both students and staff.

Experience in a similar role is highly desirable, but we are also open to considering enthusiastic applicants who can demonstrate a strong commitment to education and a willingness to learn. Formal training or qualifications in teaching, childcare, or a related field would be an advantage, but are not essential.
