Summary

Outreach Tutor / Outreach Teacher (One-to-One Support)

Location: Southend-on-Sea
Pay: £22-£25/hour (Unqualified) | From £26-£30/hour (Qualified Teachers/Tutors)
Schedule: Monday to Friday minimum 3 days. Full or Part Time

Are you a compassionate educator with a desire to make a difference outside the traditional classroom?

We're looking for dedicated Outreach Tutor or Teacher to provide personalised one-to-one teaching to students not currently in education. Supporting their confidence and foundation skills before they transition back to a school through our partner Alternative Education Service (You will not be working for our agency). You will be a nurturing teacher who can engage with the student's interests to help build rapport, trust and engagement for future education.

Whether you're working in a pupil's home, a local library, or an education setting, you'll be instrumental in helping the learner rebuild confidence, re-engage with education, and work towards meaningful academic outcomes.

Additional students can be referred to you as well.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering tailored one-to-one sessions in core subjects such as English, Maths, PSHE, and more to secondary aged student

What We're Looking For

Qualified or experienced educators with strong Maths and English skills.
