Summary
We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive family-run Commercial Workshop Business, based in the Crawley area.
The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £54,000 with an OTE circa of £65,000 with core working hours of Monday to Friday (every other week being on call and available 24/7).
Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of up to £26 per hour DOE, with a basic salary of up to £54,000 per year
- Overtime paid at time and a half during weekdays and double time for weekends
- Call out premium with a separate rate of £25 per call out and additional pay for on-call hours

Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:
- Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs, trailers, PSV & Vans
- Conducting minor bodywork repairs, such as panel replacements and windscreen repairs.
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation
Requirements:
- Previous working experience within the role
- Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Excellent mechanical knowledge
- A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
