Summary
Job Title: Mechanical Site Manager – Contract
Location: Wigan | Site Based | Contract
We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee mechanical works on a commercial project.
You’ll manage pipefitting and ducting teams, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to high quality standards.
What you’ll do:
- Manage day-to-day mechanical installation activities on site
- Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with other trades
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and programmes
- Maintain health & safety standards and carry out quality checks
- Report progress and issues to the Project Manager
You’ll need:
- Proven Mechanical Site Management experience in M&E construction
- Strong pipefitting and ducting background
- Experience on commercial projects
- SMSTS or SSSTS certified
- CSCS card
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
