Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

• Deliver tailored one-to-one support for a Year 2 child with SEMH and trauma-related behaviours
• Support learning activities, encouraging engagement, independence and resilience
• Implement and adapt emotional and behavioural support strategies in collaboration with teaching staff and the SENCO
• Promote positive behaviour through calm, consistent and restorative approaches
• Monitor and record progress, noting patterns, triggers and successes
• Create a safe, predictable and nurturing environment where the child feels valued and respected
• Attend and participate in regular meetings;
• Participate in training and other learning activities as required;To share expertise and skills with others;
• To work collaboratively with colleagues to protect and safeguard students;
• To support the delivery of work to casual supply teachers and bank cover supervisors.
• To undertake such other duties connected with the post as may reasonably be requested.
