The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support pupils learning at St Ives Infants School.
As the successful candidate, you will have a nurturing demeanour and be fully committed to promoting the needs and welfare of all children, including those with SEN/D. You will demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
You will play a vital role in supporting the educational, social, and physical development of pupils, assisting with classroom activities, and promoting inclusion and independence. This includes working closely with teachers and support staff to implement strategies tailored to individual learning needs, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all.
At lunchtimes you will ensure our pupils have a safe, enjoyable, and well-managed lunchtime experience, across both the school. You will help create a positive and enjoyable lunchtime experience for all children. Your responsibilities will include supervising pupils in the dining hall and playground, encouraging good manners, healthy eating, and ensuring that all children are safe and happy.
