Purpose of the Role
The Marketing & Communications Officer is responsible for delivering high-quality, values-led marketing and communications that strengthen internal engagement and enhance external visibility. The role supports brand consistency, storytelling, digital performance and campaign delivery across multiple channels, ensuring all outputs are accurate, professional and aligned with organisational values and regulatory expectations.
Key Duties
- Create and deliver marketing and communications content across newsletters, social media, websites, campaigns, blogs and marketing collateral.
- Maintain brand governance and quality control across all marketing and communications materials.
- Manage digital platforms including social media channels, websites, intranet and email marketing systems.
- Develop storytelling content such as case studies, testimonials, impact narratives and internal communications.
- Support employer branding, recruitment marketing and internal engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate events, exhibitions, conferences and public engagement activity, including branding and communications.
- Monitor digital performance, analytics and SEO, contributing to reporting and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with external suppliers, agencies and partners, supporting procurement and asset management.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years' professional experience in marketing, communications or digital media.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms, digital campaigns and content calendars.
- Experience working with website CMS platforms (e.g. Wix, WordPress or similar).
- Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, editing and presentation design.
- Working knowledge of digital analytics tools and basic SEO principles.
- Experience supporting events, stakeholder engagement and supplier coordination.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and brand consistency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
