This role is set within a well-regarded educational trust that focuses on supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

Your Core Responsibilities-
Direct Pupil Support: Work 1:1 or in small groups to help students engage with their learning and manage their emotions.

Collaboration: Partner with Class Teachers to implement bespoke lesson plans and educational activities.

Progress Tracking: Monitor student milestones and assist with essential assessment records.

Environment Building: Help maintain a positive, safe, and organised learning space tailored to sensory and emotional needs.
To excel in this environment, you will need:

Education: GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience working with children (SEMH experience is highly desirable).

Personality: A calm, reassuring, and responsive nature. You must be able to remain composed in challenging situations.

Communication: Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with students.
