Crynodeb
An established aviation maintenance and repair organisation is looking for a Composite Paint Technician to join its workshop team. This is a hands-on role focused on the repair, finishing, and overhaul of composite and fibreglass propeller blades.
The Role
Carry out composite, fibreglass, and carbon fibre repairs on propeller blades
Perform blade preparation, masking, painting, machining, and balancing
Install metallic leading edges and complete repair and overhaul activities
Inspect components and identify items for repair, rework, or scrap in line with OEM manuals
Support on-aircraft repairs where required (may include occasional travel)
Work to company procedures, safety standards, and COSHH requirements
About You
Experience in composites, fibreglass, paint, or a hands-on engineering and craft role (aviation, automotive, marine, carpentry)
Strong manual skills, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship
Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team
Aviation or MRO experience is desirable but not essential
Trainee candidates with the right attitude will be considered
