Summary

Are you an experienced Children's Services Team Leader ready for a new challenge? Support disabled children and young people by leading a staff team, delivering high-quality services, and creating positive outcomes for children and families. I am recruiting for a Children's Services Team Leader for a London-based service. This full-time permanent role is suitable for experienced practitioners. Salary £30,000 - £33,000 Location Islington

Responsibilities:


* Leading and supporting a staff team to deliver high-quality services
* Planning and overseeing inclusive activities such as arts and crafts, sports, baking, and community outings
* Encouraging children and young people to build friendships and engage with their local communities
* Acting as a case holder/keyworker for allocated children and young people
* Monitoring progress and development through care plans and recording
* Ensuring children and young people are supported within a safe and nurturing environment
* Supporting families by enabling reliable and meaningful respite

Requirements:


* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
* Experience working with disabled children and young people
* Ability to understand and respond to family needs
* Experience or knowledge of planning activities for children and young people (desirable)
* A positive, inclusive, and child-centred approach
