Summary

We’re recruiting for Matchday cleaners to join our team at the Riverside Stadium, working throughout the football season, 4.5 hours per match and covering all home games.

THE ROLE

To maintain high levels of cleanliness and presentation in concourse areas during home fixtures. Main responsibilities include:

Ensuring supporters’ safety by being vigilant to any spillages that might occur on the concourse and dealing with them promptly.
Ensuring all facilities are fully stocked and cleaned at the end of each game, including mopping of floors.
Ensuring all toilets are stocked with consumables before, during and after each home game.
Emptying concourse bins, paying strict attention to recycling, removing rubbish to compounds outside.

THE CANDIDATE:

Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential.
Excellent communication skills and able to engage with our supporters
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Be hardworking and able to show initiative.
Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Adopt a flexible approach to working hours, being prepared to work predominantly on weekends.

Be eligible to work in the UK.

Please note - age restriction applies for this position, so candidates must be over the age of 18.

You will be required to work all first team home matches, including evening games and some non-match day activities at the Riverside Stadium. ( 4.5 hours per match and covering all home games )

Successful candidates must attend a training induction prior to start date.
