Job Title: Senior HR Advisor (12-Month FTC)
Location: Crewe – Fully Onsite (Hybrid Option: 1 Day from Home)
Salary: £35,000–£38,000 per annum

About the Role:
The Compleat Food Group is looking for a proactive and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our Crewe site on a 12-month
fixed-term contract. You will play a key role in managing employee relations, supporting the site HRBP, and driving engagement and
wellbeing across our site. This is primarily an onsite role, working closely with managers and colleagues across all shifts, with
the flexibility of 1 day per week working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, long-term sickness, and performance management.
* Lead consultation processes such as redundancy, TUPE, and changes to terms and conditions.
* Support employee engagement initiatives, including welfare interviews, HR walkarounds, huddles, and visibility on the shop
floor.
* Ensure absence management is effective, keeping absence rates below 4%.
* Coach managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and performance reviews to grievance hearings.
* Support talent attraction, retention, and development, including succession planning and on-site leadership programmes.
* Ensure HR compliance and governance, including SEDEX audits, internal HR audits, right-to-work checks, and modern slavery
prevention.
* Step in to cover the HRBP or site HR Advisor as required.
Requirements:
* CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience as a site HR Advisor.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing employee relations in a fast-paced FMCG or manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and managing complex HR cases.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and influence managers.
* Experience supporting multi-shift operations and large teams is desirable.
