Part-Time Early Years Practitioner – Montessori Nursery, Acton, West London
A leading group of Montessori Nurseries in West London is seeking Passionate Part-Time Early Years Practitioner at Acton (W3 8GJ). Flexible shifts available.
Job Responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner-
Provide high-quality care and activities for children in a safe, stimulating environment.
Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework in line with nursery policy.
Observe and record each child’s progress, supporting their development and learning journey.
Ensure children are never left unsupervised.
Participate in the key person system and maintain up-to-date learning profiles for your key children.
Work in partnership with parents/carers and assist with parent meetings and open days.
Support the safety, security, and cleanliness of the nursery environment.
Flexible Working Patterns:
Full-time: 40 hours/week
Part-time: 2–3 full days (7:30am–6:30pm, 20–30 hours/week)
Short shifts: Early Shift (7:30am–1:00pm) | Late Shift (1:00pm–6:30pm)
Monday to Friday, year-round (term-time only applicants will not be considered)
Salary: £25,500–£27,000 (pro rata)
Requirements:
Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare & Education or equivalent
Strong knowledge of EYFS
Nursery experience and Key Person experience
First Aid qualified
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS and references
