Summary
HGV Class 1 Driver
International experience required
£20.00ph PAYE
£25.00 per Night out.
We are currently looking for reliable and experienced class 1 drivers to join a leading logistics partner who specialise in time critical deliveries. This will be working on a new contract driving in Ireland or across Europe.
Key Duties:
* Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle
* Ensure that all loads are properly secured and comply with safety regulations
* Complete all necessary documents for customs clearance and international shipping.
* Maintain a professional and efficient approach to time management, ensuring on- time delivery
* Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure vehicle is roadworthy.
* Communicate with the planning team with any issues/ delays.
* Adhere to all traffic and road regulations in different countries.
Key Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV driving licence
* Previous experience driving across international borders (UK/ EU)
* Strong understanding of custom procedures and regulations
* Ability to ensure loads of customs procedures and regulations
* Abilit to ensure loads are always secure and comply with safety standards.
* Full understanding of tachograph regulations and driver hours.
