A forward-thinking, well-regarded London secondary school is seeking a talented graduate to join its Science department and support students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role – Graduate Science Tutor

As a Graduate Science Tutor, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support students’ academic development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions across KS3 and KS4.
• Supporting students with core scientific concepts, practical experiments, and exam techniques.
• Assisting in lessons to ensure pupils remain engaged and supported.
• Leading structured intervention sessions to improve confidence and attainment.
• Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to feedback and assessment.
• Helping to maintain a positive, focused, and academically ambitious learning environment.

This is a hands-on, rewarding role that offers a real feel for teaching and life in a busy secondary school.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a graduate who is enthusiastic, professional, and ambitious:

• A 2:1 or above in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related Science degree.
• A strong interest in education, with the potential to pursue teacher training in the future.
• Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, proactive, and committed approach.
• Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential.
