The Best Connection Walsall are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Night Shunter on a temp to perm basis for a busy site in Lichfield.
Shift & Pay Details:
- 4 on / 4 off
- Night shift: 18:00 - 06:00
- Temp to perm opportunity
- 17.11 an hour
Job Role:
- Yard shunting, typically 15-20 trailer movements per shift
- Carrying out additional duties between movements, including:
- Trailer washing
- Yard and general housekeeping tasks
- Working as part of a night operations team to ensure smooth yard operations
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
- ️ Shunting experience preferred but not essential - full training provided
- No more than 6 points on licence
- CPC & Digital Tachograph Card required
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to carry out varied duties
