Summary
You will be responsible for: Clinical Care: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualised care for women/birthing people and their babies, including those with complex needs. Communication: Building strong relationships with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Communicating sensitively and effectively, especially in emotionally challenging situations. Leadership & Supervision: Supporting junior colleagues, acting up when required, and contributing to a positive team culture. Safeguarding & Advocacy: Identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns, empowering service users to make informed decisions. Quality & Governance: Participating in audits, incident reporting, and service improvement initiatives. Supporting research and evidence-based practice. Operational Duties: Managing resources responsibly, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with Trust policies and NMC standards.
