Security Guard Hawthorn, Wiltshire SN13 9NPPermanent / Full time, 43 hours per week (rostered 2 days 2 nights – 4 off)£28,061 per annum plus 12% flexibility allowance. Total £31,428

Serco Defence delivers a wide range of support to the prestigious Skynet 5 contract providing secure satellite communication services to the UK Government and Armed Forces. The role requires attention to detail, excellent time keeping and excellent customer service skills.


Main Accountabilities:

- First line of defence in support of the site mission
- Patrols and escort duties
- Vehicle and baggage searches
- Issue and receipt of keys
- Control of CCTV, IDS & Entry Control systems
- Processing visitors
- Report writing
- Liaise with other security personnel and outside agencies
- Ongoing training and development
- A degree of flexibility and other duties within scope as required by the Security Manager
