Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant Location: Haydock
Availability: Minimum 3 days per week
We are working with welcoming primary schools in Haydock seeking dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Key Stage 2 and make a real difference in their learning journey. You will play a key role in helping children thrive academically and socially in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils.
- Assist with small group and one-to-one interventions.
- Help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Support pupils' emotional and social development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience: Previous experience working with children in any setting is essential
- Qualifications: Relevant teaching assistant qualifications are desirable but not compulsory
- Availability: Must be available at least 3 days per week
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- Full right to work in UK
