A well‑established manufacturing business based in Shoeburyness is looking for a confident and hands-on Office & Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within their distribution centre and office environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being at the heart of a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organising and supervising a team of 8-10 staff within the distribution centre
- Overseeing inventory control, order processing, and invoicing
- Optimising internal workflows and logistics processes to improve efficiency
- Providing operational support for Ecommerce activities
- Ensuring excellent customer service across all channels
- Preparing financial, operational, and performance reports for senior management
- Managing general office operations, ensuring smooth daily running of the business
- Report to MD based in Spain weekly
Requirements:
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Confident managing workloads and leading small teams
- Experience using SAGE
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work proactively & autonomously
- No formal qualifications required
