A well-established and growing Norwich-based contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their dynamic and expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven professional with a strong background in new build plumbing, particularly within national and regional house builder sites, to take on a key role within the business.
The RoleThe Mechanical Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:

Managing mechanical and plumbing contracts on new build housing developments

Overseeing site teams and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance

Ensuring works are delivered on time and within budget

Maintaining strong relationships with clients, site managers, and stakeholders

Monitoring standards of workmanship and compliance with regulations

Providing regular progress reports to senior management
The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will demonstrate:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager or similar role

Strong background in new build plumbing projects

Previous experience working on national and regional house builder sites

Excellent project management and organisational skills

Strong communication and client-facing abilities

A proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach
